Der ehemalige Bundesaußenminister und Schirmherr unserer Stiftung, Dr. Klaus Kinkel, ist verstorben. Er wurde 82 Jahre alt. Eine Würdigung durch den Vorstandsvorsitzenden Heribert Scharrenbroich.

„Dem friedlichen Zusammenleben der Menschen hat Dr. Klaus Kinkel gedient. In Deutschland und in der Welt. Nicht nur auf der politischen Bühne. Auch Menschen in Not wusste er oft zu helfen. Wir können von dieser Arbeit im Kleinen Zeugnis geben. Die Arbeit unserer Stiftung zur Überwindung von Kinderarmut in Slums hat er nicht nur durch die Übernahme der Schirmherrschaft, sondern auch durch Rat und Tat unterstützt. Wir wollen im Sinne unseres verstorbenen Schirmherrn weiterarbeiten, ihm dieses Denkmal setzen.“

The former German Foreign minister, Dr Klaus Kinel, has passed away in the age of 82. years. He has been the patron of our foundation. On the occasion of his death please read the tribute of the chairman of the foundation, Heribert Scharrenbroich.
„Dr. Klaus Kinkel has served the peaceful coexistence of mankind. In Germany and around the world. Not only on the political stage. He also often knew how to help people in need.
